For social media managers · Lesson 7 of 11

Schedule a post

Put an approved post in the queue for a time. Pulse lists anything that's still in the way.

The comic

  1. Panel 1 of 3.
Polly says: Once it's approved, click “Schedule it”, pick the date and time, and “Put in the queue”. The post shows “Scheduled” and goes out on time.
  2. Panel 2 of 3.
Polly says: If something's missing, the dialog says so under “Before it can go in the queue”: no time picked, the client's approval, an account to post from, the creative, or a checklist item such as “Caption proofread”.
  3. Panel 3 of 3.
Polly says: Changed your mind? “Change the time”, or “Take out of the queue” from “More”. On a project without sign-off, you can schedule straight from a draft.

Try it in Pulse

  1. Open an approved post and click “Schedule it”.
  2. Pick a time, and read “Before it can go in the queue” if anything is listed.
  3. Click “Put in the queue”.

You'll be asked to sign in first. Every workspace starts with a free week, no card needed.
