For social media managers · Lesson 4 of 12

From idea to post

Catch a thought in the Ideas inbox, find it waiting on the calendar, and drag it onto a day when it's time to make it.

The comic

  1. Panel 1 of 3.
Polly says: Open “Ideas” and type a thought into “A quick idea, then Enter”, then press Enter. No brief, no date, no platforms yet: it waits in the “Inbox” until it's time.
  2. Panel 2 of 3.
Polly says: Every idea in the inbox also shows on the “Calendar”, as a yellow note under “No date yet”. Drag it onto a day in “Week” or “Month”: “New post” opens with the idea's title, notes and project filled in, on that day.
  3. Panel 3 of 3.
Polly says: Click “Create and open” and the post is on that day, pencilled in. The idea leaves the inbox, so nothing is made twice. No day in mind yet? “Turn into a post” on the note makes the post without a date.
