Pulse basics · Lesson 2 of 4

The journey every post takes

Every post shows a journey bar: who has it now, and what happens next. Learn to read it and its statuses.

The comic

  1. Panel 1 of 3.

At the top of every post…

Polly says: Every post has a journey bar. With sign-off it has three steps: “Write and design” by your team, “Client approval” by the client, then “Goes out”, which Pulse does.
  2. Panel 2 of 3.
Polly says: Along the way a post has a status: “Draft”, “Being designed”, “Ready”, “With client”, “Approved”, “Scheduled”, then “Published”. Clients see friendlier words, like “Your approval needed”.
  3. Panel 3 of 3.
Polly says: When something goes wrong, the step shows it: “Changes asked” when the client wants a change, or “Didn't publish” when a platform refused the post. Either way, the post tells you what to do next.

Try it in Pulse

  1. Open “Calendar” and click any post.
  2. Find the journey bar at the top of the post, and see which step it's at.
  3. Read its status, then the button that says what to do next.

You'll be asked to sign in first. Every workspace starts with a free week, no card needed.
